my heart is aching with sorrow and my head is fuming with rage.

Nex deserved so, so, so much better. Nex deserved to live a long life surrounded by people who love them for who they are. but they were taken from us way too young by other children who succumbed to hate. it worked. all the hatemongering. it worked. is this what they wanted when they said "think about the children"? where were they when a child was dying and needed help? nowhere around, not even to call an ambulance. are they happy now? are only dead transgender kids good transgender kids?

their name was Nex and we will never forget.
